Definitely want to give a shout out to John Laforme of Home Inspection Authority. He has always been my go to for home inspections. Always on time, reasonably priced, and never misses a thing. I use him for home, mold, sewer, and pool inspections. He is very professional and is also very knowledgeable on every aspect of the inspections. I highly recommend John anyone buying or selling a home that requires an inspection. Thank you for all your help John!

I almost never write reviews but I was so impressed with John's professionalism I couldn't help myself! John is very through with his inspection. He charged for 1 hour but he spent around 2 hours to inspect the 2 bedroom apartment less than 1000 sqft that I am planning to purchase. After his inspection, he pointed out the issues one by one and explained in detail in layman's terms. He is a true professional and an honest great guy. Highly recommend him!

John did an outstanding job inspecting a condo I was considering purchasing. He was extremely thorough and uncovered numerous issues that neither my agent nor I were aware of. His report was detailed, easy to understand, and filled with clear photos documenting exactly what he found. Because of his inspection, I had a much better understanding of the potential repair costs and ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase when the seller would not adjust the price. John may very well have saved me tens of thousands of dollars and a lot of future headaches. I am extremely grateful for his work and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone buying a home.

John Laforme is absolutely the guy you want for your general inspection.You can trust that he's going to make sure that everything is covered in his inspection of your property, having years of experience and knowledge across infrastructure, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems.We appreciated that he spent time with myself and my partner after completion of the inspection, walking us through the report and around the property to review his inspection. He's willing to put the time in with you, and we were very appreciative of that.Access to the report through Home Inspection Authority's website is straightforward and easy to view, download, or send out. One click from his email and you're in.We would absolutely call John again, he does great work and provides excellent documentation for the inspection.

It’s a no brainer for me. I will never purchase a house again without using this inspector. I’ve used Laroca in the past (If I remember the name correctly) who did not provide me with a clear report with images and descriptions of each issue. John did such an excellent job and provided me with the details I needed to get the seller to fix some of the major issues while in escrow. Thank you again John and I will be sure to refer any other buyers who are looking to purchase.
